That was wonderful! I have come to expect CGI to be very, very good, so the images were not astonishing, but the story-craft was excellent. I was afraid of some kind of syrupy 'angel-comes-to-earth' story, but this tale had some grit! The angel had a hawk's wings and comes to earth because it has seen something of itself in this shining globe. Was the earth in the background in ruins? The angel never noticed. It had eyes only for an object made in its image
