PlayTo Hold You

I wrote this song about my dad, who died from cancer in 2001. The song first talks of his death, which I actually held his hand through. The rest tells of the recurrent dreams I had after he passed away. In each dream, he would tell me he had cancer and then he would die right there in my arms. I always wished I could hold him one last time, until those dreams occurred. I realized then how painful that one last time would be. After composing this song, the dreams ended, and I haven't had another one since.
