The first time I actually sat down and played this song after writing it, I cried. I didnt realize at the time I was writing that I was actually feeling all of this. This particular piece seems to hit home for many who have heard it and that makes me feel good as a songwriter because that's what my music has always been about. The real stuff...the Truth.
