This song was written in 1995 After a tragedy reported in the local news. It is the story of a 13 year old boy who was killed in a drive by shooting. The second verse is from a story reported on in Dayton Ohio about a woman who killed her 5 year old son. This song is designed to draw attention to the fact that it is a sick world we live in and none of us, though we try to ignore it, are immune to the effects of what goes on around us.
