PlayNever Comin' Home

by Carson Henley

You needed time apart
You really broke my heart
You thought you could do, without me and you
Our love was the prize
In everyone’s eyes
How could you say, there was no reason to stay

Pre Chorus
And ever since that day
You got up and ran away
I turned my back and moved on from you

Carson, I'm not surprised but I am. You are great. Great voice and great tunes. I haven't seen you since soccer. Josh told me to search for you online and I'm so glad I did. Keep it up, you'll only keep getting better if thats possible. I'm from a family of jazz musicians and my father played in Chicago with Louis Armstrong...........for Al Capone at his club. Crazy huh
Wow.......little Carson. Say hi to your mom for me. Josh's mom, Patsy Niemeyer

Can't argue with talent, you've definitely got it Carson!

yes, def good vox and vox production and melody is awesome. could do without the non-real sounding piano. nice chord progressions... reminds me of squeeze or, better yet, the jellyfish. whole mix could be brighter. are the drums real? (doesn't sound like it)... at least more 'real' drums could do wonders to add a more organic feel to the song and vocals and sincerity of your delivery. best of luck! this song could be cool for a sit-com soundtrack or something like that... try and license it.
