The Battle of Waterloo was Napoleon's last battle before he was exiled. I thought it would be fun to turn it into a metaphor for someone who is giving it one last shot to win a girls heart back. It looks like a lost cause, but there were just too many great times and amazing memories to let go without a fight.

Hey, if the Battle of Waterloo ended differently, who knows what would have happened?
