While the music of Anti-M has been heavily influenced by progressive rock our songs have mainly been short and not reflecting our progressive rock roots. The Sixth Extinction takes its name from the Richard E. Leakey book and is the first Anti-M song to be written with the intent to produce more of a progressive rock epic. Originally the song was going to be twice as long but we broke it into two parts.
