Highway 71 is a real road in Northwest Arkansas.
It's a scenic byway now , but up until the mid 90's it was the main road between Alma and Fayetteville for cars and truckers alike.
58 miles of 2 lane, curved, and twisted mountain highway.
A snake couldn't have designed it better :)
Hundreds of people were killed on that stretch of road before the Interstate was built.
Mostly truckers.
They still come back, as retirees and tourists, to ride the devil and remember.
