A road song, inspired by John Updike's "Rabbit Run", where the young "Rabbit" escapes from his alcoholic wife and young son by simply driving off. "Escaping through the dark of night, ride on south to catch the light..." as I put it in the song. The guitar works nicely here; finger picking that helps tie the story and the tune together.
