I wrote this song after sitting at home waiting on a boyfriend to call. He was too busy partying and I was the last thought of the day. He would call me at 2 AM to say hello when I hadn't heard from him all day. I was definately his last thought of the day. Needless to say that got really old and the relationship ended.
