About Joy Joy

Lithonia, GA

Joy Chenese Clark was born on February 7, 1986 in Baltimore, MD. She is the daughter of George Clark and Tanya Young. Since the age of 6 years old, Joy has been writing poetry and lyrics. Joy is a songwriter, author, singer, rapper and an all around artist. She is also a musician who began playing the violin at age 7 and drums at the age of 11.

Joy states "Music has always been apart of my family. Growing up we enjoyed singing in choirs, praise teams and youth performances." So, where did the stage name "JoyJoy" come from??? Glad you asked, Joy states;"Joy is my first name but "JoyJoy" is the name given by close friends and family who said "your name is too short, saying it twice makes it longer." But I also emphasize my natural name being combined with the "Joy" of the Lord-which is my strength."

Joy Clark has released her first book entitled "Unwrapping the Gift of Living Single" available on Amazon Kindle. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Liberty University, and a Masters in Business from Westwood College.
