About the Artist
Trygg (pronounced Trigg), is an amazing young talent on the rise. Originally from Rochester, MN, he is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
He has had the opportunity to work with a variety of different music artists including Kirk Franklin, Joss Stone, Plus One, Nick Carter, Taylor Hicks, and Christina Aguilera just to name a few. Because of his incredible range and great ability to be a chameleon vocalist breathing life into songs, Trygg is in high demand as a lead/background singer and vocal arranger by numerous top writer/producers to put his signature on their songs.
His talent and abilities have afforded him the opportunity to work with some of the industries top writers and producers:Diane Warren, Matt Serletic, C.J. Vanston, Alex Cantrall, Robert Palmer, Robbie Nevil, Rob Arbatiere, Matthew Gerrard, Guy Roche, Jeeve, Glen Ballard, Cory "CO-P" Peterson, Michelle Vice, Scott Cutler, Trina Harmon, Jamie Houston, Sebastion Arocha-Morton, Leon Ware, Michael Jay, Black Keyz Entertainment, and many more.
As an accomplished song writer, he has placed songs for Showtime's "Soulfood", day time soap opera "Guiding Light", and most recently the new boy band sensation V-FACTORY (Warner Bros. Records) with a song entitled "Dem Hot Girlz".
Television performances include the "Meaty Cheesy Boys" ad for Jack-in-the-Box, voiced a boy band (4 SKOR) for FOX'S King of the Hill (Episode "Get Your Freak Off"), the Desperate Housewives Soundtrack (Joss Stone's "Treat Me Right [I'm Yours for Life], and with Kirk Franklin at the 39th NAACP Image Awards 2008. He has also contributed vocals throughout the "Happy Feet" Soundtrack.
He recently performed the lead role in an independent film that will was released in mid 2008, entitled "Wigger".
