About the Artist

OUTLET was started by singer/songwriter Kristen Callahan, adding classmates Julien/bass, Erik/lead guitar and ex-Sister Placebo drummer Stéphane. A colorful blend of music influences range from Sublime to Duran Duran to early Cure. Spun out of the Pacific Northwest, the music captures the raw beauty and mystery of our county. The common denominator is simple: our love for music makes for a powerful sound that is sure to flood your brain. Callahan's lyrics are real and beyond her years let alone her Hendrix-like guitar licks and a voice that haunts long after the song is over. Add Julien's brooding bass and Erik's eclectic riff to the sound of battle-scarred drummer Stéphane's dramatic beats, it's all there and more. The rest is up to you.
