With a name as unique as his sound you can’t help but stop and listen. Dubbed the Minister of Soul Music, he drives a new sound that includes: a spin off of New Wave; the image, lyrical creativity in his Freestyle, where his words come to life, a 50 Carat Cluster of Soul, that allows him to slip into your heart openly. This creates the sound that will cause you to discover the true essence of Love. Oscah’s style can be compared to Mr. “Love and Happiness” himself, Al Green, J’Davey, ATCQ, O’Bryan, and Marvin Gaye.

Born in Asheville, NC music has always been apart of his life. At the age of 12, he moved to the Eastside of Long Beach, California. His rescue from gangs and drugs became apparent when he received a record player from this grandmother. Singing only to hear himself and listening to vintage albums as a teen helped to craft and define the man, the mood setter, and the movement that would make him in his own words “Originally Odd”. In 2002, after 7 years of secondary education, he graduated from Long Beach City College with a Certification of Commercial Music /Record Production and made moves towards developing as an artist.

Through many changes in life the one change that made it all come together was arriving in Southwestern, VA in 2004. Where his reintroduction to Christ inspired his music and increased his faith in his calling. From writing to producing to his ever roaming creative mind, Oscah delivers a remedy and guide to “heal and reveal love”…and happiness.

Oscah’s willingness to think outside the box and put a genuine effort behind his sound is what makes him “Originally Odd”. It also proves, in the end, that using a different vehicle doesn't make the ride less smooth as long as it’s steered with faith filled hands.
