Relinquish

 Individual Band Bios:

Luke Fortner is a seventeen-year-old Contemporary Christian artist, and has been traveling and touring for around five years. From the time he was three years old, Luke has started to sing. As a ministry, Luke sings at churches and desires to point others to Christ though his music. He can sing both contemporary Christian and gospel music. He has sung at Russ Lee’s church in Nashville, along side the East Coast, and even in two different countries. Also, Luke has traveled to other places such as Illinois, California, Washington, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and more. He has also been able to met many other artists and bands in the Christian music field, and has had the opportunity to work with them. Luke has also worked with teachers at Liberty University and has had training from other teachers as well. On the gospel side, Luke had the opportunity to meet Bill Gaither, he had lessons from Steven Hill and even had the opportunity to sing with Ben Speer and Allyson Durham Speer. In the past two years, Luke has been singing with the band Relinquish. 

        My name is Jacob Kelly. I’m a Senior at Staunton River Highschool and I’ve beening playing drums for about four years. I have been with Relinquish for almost two years. I attend church at Radford Baptist Church, and there is something that most people don’t know about me; I also play guitar and I’m very good with computers. I love playing basketball, weight-lifting and hanging out with my friends.

      My name is Josiah Sprankle, I am 16 years old and I am the keyboardist for Relinquish. When I was 6 years old, my life was greatly impacted when I received the Lord Jesus as my Savior and was saved from my sins. Even today, living in the Holy Spirit and serving God gives me joy greater than anything else in this world. However, being able to worship God with music is an amazing way for me to use my abilities, and to have a closer connection with God as well. For me, playing with Relinquish is a great way for me to do this. I’ve been playing with Relinquish for a little over a year, and I’ve been playing piano for about 8 years. I also enjoy playing many styles of music outside of contemporary Christian music, including Classical, Rock, Jazz and Southern Gospel. For me, Relinquish really sticks out as a band because the music is Christ-centered and the members are committed to serving Jesus. Why don’t you give our music a listen?

   My name is Landon Clark. I have lived in Ronaoke, Va all my life. My Savior rescued me at the age of 11 and I have been trying to follow Him the best that I can since then. I have a passion for music and my influences range from Keith Urban, John Mayer, Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, and many other artists who I admire. I have been playing guitar since I was 16 and I am now 21, going on 22. I have one purpose and that is to glorify God in all I do. for almost 2 years. I have always loved music and it has formed into my passion.
I love all generes of music and hope by playing bass, that I can use my talents
