An Electrocoustic Singer-Songwriter with piano tricks, guitar licks, and vocal kicks, Mallory Trunnell's folk-rock with an alternative twist offers something for everyone. Originally from Delta, Utah, Mallory has arrived on the LA music scene and is quickly picking up steam.
A classically trained pianist, and a self taught guitarist, Mal (as her friends call her) literally has music in her blood. An actress since age 4, and a songwriter since age 9, this 'Modern Renaissance Girl' has always known she has wanted to perform for a living. "Music is so universal yet it's also the most personal way to connect people", she muses, "I only hope that I can be an artist with whom people feel connected to each other. In a world so isolated, I want to give people something emotional, human, make them feel something real and remind them what it feels like to just sit in a room and really listen to a song."
Mallory Trunnell is always a busy girl. Currently she is working on her first full length album with new producer Spenser Bishop or MixOne Studios. Her first single 'Let Go' is slated to drop in July 2010. She is always writing with other artists and those songs are starting to pop up on new records and EP's all around the LA area. Her side project The Twilight Music Girls (
www.twilightmusicgirls.com) has also received national attention for the groups' songs inspired by S. Meyer's beloved 'Twilight' book series. TMG hit the road this Spring on a West Coast Hot Topic Tour, and their music video for 'La Tua Cantante' received praises from MTV, Reelz Channel and Twi-Hards around the nation. Her debut EP 'Honor Me' is also available and shows a wide range of emotion, grit, and musicality. Mallory's songs will take your senses on a roller-coaster ride.
