Kevi is a true Atlantian with a passion for music. This Georgia Peach is a real southern girl and a genuine musician. She is a graduate of the Cobb County Center for Excellence in the Performing Arts, class of 2004. There she participated as a vocal major and a drama minor. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgia State University in 2009. While at GSU, Kevi also minored in Music Management. She has been noted as "one of the hottest new talents out of the 'A'". No doubt true, as this young and talented performer has just began to scratch the surface.
Her sultry alto been described as a, "warm and mature sound perfect for contemplation." As a writer, she reflects upon the state of her generation and the plight of the modern young woman. As a performer, Kevi embraces the stage with all the fervor and craftsmanship of a seasoned veteran. When all of these elements combine, a force is created that can only be eloquently described as "Magical." Listeners don't just hear music but walk away with an experience.
In the summer of 2004, Kevi released her very 1st album, "Revolution" through her own label. The project is modern and contemporary mix of upbeat tempos and uplifting, truthful messages.
In addition to her vocal talents, Kevi also has an impressive acting resume to boast. Along with her musical projects, she has also taken on and been featured in a slew of major non-music related . In 2004, she created her own independent record label and production company, Redd Productionsâ. Soon after came the creation of Ivek Music Publishingâ, Kevi’s independent music publishing company. In 2009, she was a part of the Academy-Award Winning film, “The Blind Sideã.” That same year she was a featured soloist in the television pilot, “Wild Flowers.”
She is currently promoting her debut EP, Woman in Me. She has teamed up with super-mega producer Simon Illa for this project to create a totally new sound for inspirational music. Kevi has even expanded her musical talents by acting as a producer and even composing the 1st single from the album, "Dreaming."
Kevi's other hobbies include music, singing, acting, reading, and a proficient love of the arts. She is a avid supporter of the arts and of creative expression. In her spare time, she paints, sculpts, and is a budding photographer. (Some of her work can be seen at
