KD ASSASSIN

The artist known as KD was born Derek Clark in St. Louis, Mo. He was raised in the Walnut Park area of the city, your typical neglected, crime and drug infested neighborhood...but not your average Emcee! Thankful to have survived gang life and street hustling, KD chooses to use his voice to promote consciousness and inspiration instead of exploiting the struggle that has made him the man he is. However, he will go there if taken there in a battle! He is inspired by his city and the likes of Jay-Z, Scarface, 2-Pac, The LOX, and DMX. KD has performed and collaborated with other local undaground vets such as Jai Davis of Bits n Pieces, Spark1dah?, Family Affair, Karli Roots of Reggae at Will and More Fiyah, Toyy, Ray Goss, Mic Checka, The Murc Unit, Luqman, and D-Mac.
