JT The Smoove
About the ArtistJoseph S. Trotter IV A.K.A JT “The Smoove” is a one of a kind Singer, Song Writer and Producer that brings an array of Tantalizing, Sensual, Sincere yet Soulful vocals mixed with "Real Talk" heartfelt lyrics that seem to be a miss in today’s Style of Music. He prides himself as being a Pioneer for this new generation of R&B; and until now The Industry was not ready for an artist with such an array of Talent. His music has something for all ages and genres to relate to. His “In The Moment” Style of writing is Sensual, Sexual, and Passionate yet still contains enough Class and Emotion to touch the hearts of most Women abroad. Meanwhile his Upfront, Signature “Chant style” of wordplay still keeps the Hard Legs Noddin their Heads to his Mid Tempos and Ballads. It is this ability to bridge New Age R&B with Hip Hop and His unmatched Original Vocal style that separates him from Many of today’s Artists; this distinction has made him one of the most sought after and admired up and comers in the Dallas, Hawaii and Mid Western Markets abroad.

Hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana, Joseph was raised in Dallas, Texas where He began to "play around" in Music, following in His Mother and Father’s footsteps who are both Musically inclined. He began writing poetry at the age of 10 years old, which was also the time He discovered his natural ability to entertain and an undeniable passion for Singing. He began to hone and sharpen his skills like most artists in the Church, but was often criticized for not having the traditional Church voice and sound. This didn’t frustrate the determined JT, instead it became the catalyst to his passion that made him more determined to remain different and continue to pursue his dream of Music, Singing, Writing, and Performing. It was this difference that caught the eyes and ears of a multitude of audiences around the globe.
