About the Artist
"His music paints a picture of his life, like a story book." says former EarnYourStripes! front-man Jon Gunzel, "I like hearing his stories." What a story he has. Having experienced several different life-style changes to living all over the world, he was always far away from home. He moved to Marion out of the military and quickly jumped into the local music scene creating acoustic duo Love is Kemical. After the dissolution of his first musical project, he joined several bands. Playing drums for the Red Sakura, guitar for EARNYOURSTRIPES!, and fronting Johnny on Fire, he quickly experienced live performance. "I loved every minute of it. I've got to open for bands like, "Chiodos, In Fear and Faith, Greeley Estates, and so many more." says JR, "I love metal and miss it sometimes, but I was never got the satisfaction I get from playing my own stuff."Technical Requirements:
