Jacqueline Durbin

I have been writing songs since the beginning of my troubled teen years, and on through the ups and downs, joys and heartaches, wisdom and foolishness - and the searching and finding of my life. During that time I was always involved in music somehow. It's always been a huge part of me. For a long time I kept my writing to myself - alone with my guitar. It was a place of a private escape. I spent a lot of time trying to be what everyone else wanted me to be. I finally learned to not be afraid of who I really am, realizing I might be able to make a difference in the world.

My music seems to appeal to a wide audience. It can be described as acoustic, rock, folk, contemporary Christian - a lot of things. But it's always real and always honest.

I had the privilege to partner with Tate Music Group in the fall of 2009. My new album "Superhuman" is soon to be released.

I long to connect with those who feel alone in their personal struggles - to give them hope and encouragement in these times filled with so much pain and disappointment.
