GBU was formed by freak accident in mid-2009 when veteran songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Art needed a new drummer for his hard rock band 68AD. His search resulted in the audition of drummer extraordinaire Jeff (or as Art puts it, "the only person I met...

Technical Requirements

Art Wright: electric/acoustic guitar, whatever amp I can borrow or steal, strap, cable, voice, heart, soul, hat and glasses (NEED = DI input to PA system, mic, Jameson's on the rocks)

Ron Martin: Guitars: Gibsons, Fenders and Martins(oh my) main electric '85 customized Fender Strat  black,  back-up ‘81 Gibson Les Paul Std  cherry-sunburst, main acoustic '80 Martin D-19 walnut

Bass: main '88 Steinberger/Cort headless black custom painted,  back-up '07 Ibanez Artcore acoustic/electric  tobacco-sunburst

Amps: '73 Fender Super Reverb, '78 Fender Band Master, '63 Fender Band Master  and '02 Fender Rumble

additional gear in Felix's magic bag of tricks include: pedal boards, Nady wireless, wah-wahs, talkbox, slides and the occasional violin bow (did anyone say Theramin?) 

Harmonicas: Hohner all the way

Drinks: Jack Daniel's ((where avail) with or without ginger ale), rum, scotch, bourbon and whatever the bartender is drinking, unless it be water otherwise...prefers Deer Park or Poland Spring over Dasanioh,....likes beer too

Jeff Levine: compact 4pc Ludwig ‘Epic” drum kit w/ Zildjian cymbals or 5pc Vintage oversized Slingerland drum kit  and some Jap crap 4 pc for Hit & Run type gigs (depending on venue)
