Caleb James

Caleb James was born Jan 21 of 1982, in the NorthWest Michigan town of Ludington, He grew up just 11 miles east in the small village of nowhere named Custer. Caleb was raised on music, his father JW Custer was the man behind a very popular local country western band in the 70's named Custers Last Stand. At a very young age, Caleb began to go down the musical path by takin up drums at the age of 10. soon later at age 13 joined the church praise and worship team,where he grew into his voice, and helped write songs. He still drums,and sings in church to this present day. Caleb was a senior at Mason County Eastern highschool, when he first decided to try playing the guitar. So plucking around on dads ol acoustic, he began to write his own music. He has a passion to write about life expierences,dreams,even the sad song, whats country music without a sad one now and then. So whatever else the future may hold,He'll be sure to write about it. The sound he brings is an Acoustic blend of Country and Rock with a bit of a haunting touch.He's already opened up for national country act Tracy Lawrence. and is looking to play many more shows with the big boys and girls too.
