We can’t even deny that after hearing what this hip hop trio is doing, their impact impressed us just as they have the world. So if you didn’t know, Benatton is making music fun again and you too have the chance to get lively with them in this next amazingly infectious track. Definitely about their fashion, their business and turning it up wherever they go, “Mute Mula” is the next single sure to have heads nodding and speakers blaring from how great it sounds.

She then handed the stage over to fellow New Jersey-ians in the trio of Parlay, ToNe & Jay Suarez, better known as Benatton, a fun party troupe full of charisma and one-line lyrical jokes, who instantly shot the energy level way up high with their Moby meets Beastie Boys meets Far East Movement vibe. The opened with their original cut "Maple Syrup" (click here to listen to it now), followed by another called "Can I Get A $5 Regular Please?" set to the tune of Phoenix's "1901". They closed their set with an original lyrical remix of the most obvious for their genre -- LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" -- complete with live shuffle choreography by all three group-members. The studio dubs of the latter two cuts are available for streaming at their PodOMatic account. Benatton got the whole crowd moving and smiling, and it was clear the night was off to a good start.

The boys in Benatton have just dropped the music video for their hype song "KickRocks", an unrelenting burst of bravado that comes much harder than their party material I first associated them with. The results are substantial, especially coming from an indie trio, offering up a video component complete with intense visual effects makeup (zombie and monster menagerie a-go-go, think a darker synth/rap version of "Thriller") that echoes the dark and more-than-a-little-bit ominous synth beat, sounding a bit like an ambulance wail chopped up and screwed. This one is not to be played with. Ring the alarm -- Benatton wants to be noticed, and quickly! Go get it, boys! Check out the video below. Warning, not for the too faint of heart. ;) Hurrah for taking chances and creativity in a music market that is starting to stagnate when it comes to what's important. Team Benatton!
