Starting as a drummer in a rock band in 1997, ICE 6 quickly discovered the music scene was overwhelmed with individuals only interested in being in the spotlight. Having issues with with groups disbanding due to lack of fame, ICE 6 followed his true passion in Techno/Electronica music in 2000. In 2005, ICE 6 went public, releasing his creations to the public on the internet, radio stations across the world, podcasts, and entering electronic music competitions.
Shortly afterwards, ICE 6 received his first recording contract in Jan. of 2006 which was followed by 3 more contract offers by 2008. ICE 6 never did sign with any of the offers received, and decided to take a break from the music scene. "I can't believe how lame this industry is. It makes me sick to see how many fresh artists get duped into scams. So called A&R reps, independent films, and non-productive radio stations, demanding money from artists for airtime or contracts. When they know that new artists are always scrambling for a source of income just to afford CD releases, and equipment." ICE 6 2008.
June of 2009 ICE 6 returned to the music scene, this time as a DJ and Remixer. Producing his first remix in June of 2009, followed by a show and CD release called "Re-Entry". Shortly later ICE 6 was contacted by a DJ from a major record label asking permission to use his first remix in a show, ICE 6 was hooked again. ICE 6 began remixing, planning new shows, and is now entering remix competitions.
