Their strong sense of melody and lyrical storytelling, metal roots and international inspirations have led Oblivious Signal to spend the past 2 years continuing to build on what Metro Mix has proclaimed as their “ever growing European fanbase.” 2009 put them on a vigorous track of writing, recording, and festival appearances.
Oblivious Signal spent much of 2009 playing notable shows including the 2009 Rock the Planet Festival at Revolution Live, Florida Power Metal Fest, Femme Fest, and Hot Topic In-Store Performances regionally, along with other noteworhty shows including a performance all in Spanish at the Bayside Marina Stage in Miami. They have opened for some of the heaviest names on the scene including Developed, Ekotren, Money Code, The Material, Hilary McRae, and Circle II Circle.
The band’s new record "Into the Night", set to release in February, will showcase not only their richer new sound, but also a bonus CD of acoustic songs and songs in Spanish. Additionally, songs from the demo have been newly re-mixed and produced Luis Salazar (Soler Mesh, Lil Wayne, January).
