Union Avenue came together as the result of a simple idea. To play good and honest music. That good and honest music comes from many different genres. From rock to reggae and country to blues. The name Union Avenue is a tip of the cap to the Memphis street that is home to Sun Records. The artist’s and music of Sun are an influence to all of us in this band. None more so than Vocalist/Guitarist – Lenny Earls. Lenny’s dad is none other than legendary Sun Records recording artist Jack Earls.
