Portrait of Sarah LaMantia
Singer/Songwriter/Pianist

I can't imagine a day without music in it and I can't envision anything that could possibly EVER make me happier.

My first solo album is due to release this summer. In the meantime, you can also spend some time with me on YouTube (www.YouTube.com/SarEliz0131).

Since I joined OurStage for the chance to open for Hanson this summer, let me at least tell you why....

When I was 13 I begged my mom to get me an agent.

I didn't know why, but I knew I needed one. I figured if Hanson was so young, yet so successful, that must've been what they had done...

She didn't get me one.

But Middle of Nowhere sparked a fire in me that I haven't been able to put out since (thankfully!).
My whole life seems to revolve around music and I wouldn't want it any other way.
If you're a fan you may be familiar with Hanson's struggles with IDJ.
Sadly, I can say I also relate to them on that level as well.
A few years after Middle of Nowhere was released, I too managed to sign a major label deal (as a member of a girl group). We worked for years on our debut album, but like many artists before me, that debut never made its... well... debut.

The fire is still burning, though.
I've grown so much as a writer, performer and singer in the time since.

I've also realized why I love music so much. It can make you feel something. It can help you hide when you need to get away, can lift your spirits when you need a break, can bring you to tears or just make you smile.

I love being able to share that with people through just a simple song.

I adore you for stopping by. Spread the musical love!
