Portrait of Trigger & Some Dudes Named Roy
TRIGGER & SOME DUDES NAMED RO

Ross Wells of Zenfilm once described a collection of Trigger music as "Monty Python meets Slim Whitman at Sarah Silverman's house with a lot of espresso." In the interest of time, we just call it Peculiar Country. Trigger was raised in Brownwood, Tx., among bankers, lawyers, preachers, cowboys, hippies, drunks, and politicians. He left town, needed a therapist, found a good lookin' one and married her. Influences include Randy Newman, John Prine, Robert Earl Keen, Iris Dement, Roger Miller, Lyle Lovett, Tom Waits, The Chad Mitchell Trio, and Willie. New album from Sugarhill Studios is wrapped, released, & howlin'. iTunes and Amazon.com
