Mainline is a blues rock band in its 9th year. The early years was spent paying there due honing there craft in venues around Sydney. During this time the band worked hard on there original songs, presentation, appearance and overall performance. Whilst as the same time not forgetting to work up a enormous set list of standard covers. Some artist Mainline cover are Eric Clapton, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Black Crows, George Thorogood, Chuck Berry, Garry Moore, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Angels, Jimi Hendix and many more ranging from styles of blues rock, funk, rock n roll and country rock mixed with a twist of everything.
In 2004 the band ended up taking the show on the road and ended up completing 50 gigs in that year alone. In 2005 the band completed in excess of 75 gigs. Mainline is well and truely a fulltime touring band and one of the hardest working to emerge from the local music scene in a very long time.
The band takes pride in being welcomed back by happy and satisfied hotel venue management time and time again working with volume control to keep the management happy. During 2005 Mainline added clubs to there ever increasing lists of clients. So no matter what the occasion or venue this band has the performance to suit.
