Portrait of selectfew
Hailing from the same town as Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Sister Hazel, Less Than Jake, Chris McCarty Band and Against Me!, Select Few is proud to call Gainesville, Florida home. Combining the current lineup of Ben Cannon, Jarod Thompson, Jeremy Norton and (touring drummer) Ian McLeod's various musical backgrounds and education, Select Few attempts to put a new spin on alternative rock. Some of the bands key influences include Dave Matthews Band, Chris McCarty Band, Sister Hazel, Jack Johnson, Mastodon, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Foo Fighters

Despite being relatively new to the industry, Select Few has already finished their debut demo at the prestigious Vision Sound Studios in Jacksonville, Fl. (home of The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Captain Kid, Van Zant and many more.) The band received its very first commercial radio airplay on August 12th when "Reflection" was featured on the program "Unsigned Sunday" on 103.7 Radio Sophie KSCF in San Diego, California

The band has put in countless hours on the road and is currently organizing plans for its first national tour in December. They have shared the stage with such national touring artists as The Supervillains (Law Records), Hollywood Ave (IVR Records), Junkie Rush (featured Earthday Birthday performer) and Hot Vegas.
