Portrait of Midnite Dixie
Formally meeting each other in 2008 and introducing their various talents to each other, the members of Midnite Dixie made it official in 2010, rehearsing and playing in their 1941 renovated farm house. Today's members consist of Donnie Whitener on drums, Johnny Hall on Bass, Zach Baker on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Chad Howard on lead guitar and vocals. The band is rooted in Bradley County, Tennessee and are a solid group of guys who truly believe in their music and wish to convey the same to fans and listeners alike with their original songs and instrumentals.

Listening to the band, you find influences ranging from Lynrd Skynrd, Allman Brothers, Eagles, Black Foot, and the Black Crowes. A smooth southern rock sound and experience. The edgy solid vocals of Zach Baker and Chad Howard backed by not only their own guitars but the drums of Donnie and Bass of Johnny brings their originals of Dixie, Rails of Hell, In & Out, and Man To Be into reality as demonstrated on their CD.

Listening to Midnite Dixie is a unique experience as you discover that the songs are original in lyric and in music. The sounds and songs you find yourself wanting to hear over and over are the child of the four you see on the stage before you matched by a chemistry and stage presence that can at times leave you in awe. And you find yourself singing the songs over and over as the music infects you.
