ICE CREAM FIRE was formed in 2010 as a collaboration between Japanese born rock musician Tamon Fujimi & Philadelphia-raised Jazz/Blues singer Jackie Haydamacha. Tamon wrote a few instrumental tracks for Jackie to collaborate on, & along with songwriter/MC Tim Kelly, they wrote & recorded several songs (available on our Band Profile) in a bedroom/adjoining bathroom at Tim & Jackie’s LA home. They also recruited incredibly talented musicians including; bassist Andrew Ford from Ohio by way of Florida; Israeli-born drummer, Yanni Ezer; & virtuoso guitarist Derek Doepker on Lead Guitar. Together, they have been relentlessly writing, recording, rehearsing & playing shows around Southern California at legendary venues like The Roxy, Key Club, Paladino’s, Viper Room, & The House of Blues. They are currently in the studio recording tracks for an upcoming EP release & debut album.
Influences include; “Thriller” era Michael Jackson; dance-pop like Lady Gaga; Hip Hop Party rock from Eminem & Biggie to The Black Eyed Peas & LMFAO; & rock bands like Foo Fighters, Guns n’ Roses & Paramore.
