If you thought you knew Two Days Drive, keep your ears open. The guys describe their sound as an ‘ever-evolving culmination of faculty and experience,’ since there foundation in 2005. Their current sound can be categorized as acoustic/pop/rock. Their sound is considered a blend of Matchbox Twenty, Phish, Genesis and Ray Lamontagne.

The members of the band hail from all over the country. Matthew on vocals and guitar is from Illinois; Stevland from Colorado plays drums and adds harmonies, Jed plays the bass and sings backup. They all bring diverse styles and sounds to the band, forming a varied, yet cohesive resonance that is truly unique. Their debut EP, Pages Fold is a strong mix of acoustic pop/rock sound, mixed with songwriting that is sure to please anyone with a reliable eardrum.

What sets Two Days Drive apart from the rest of the pack is, “Our imaginative writing method. It is different without putting people off. We aim to create a recognizable sound while bringing fresh/new ideas at the same time.” The music is meant to tell a story, composed of genuine lyrics and unique melodies.
