Judge for CrateredMoon

I've been singing since I was 17, guitar since 20. Some shows, regular Friday night gigs at a coffee house. The area where i'm from is pretty entrenched in the cover scene, and if it is original, it's probably loud. That's cool, it's just not what i do. Generally pretty serious with my lyrics (i tell jokes, if i actually believe they are funny). Just a fan of sincerity, some folks are sincerely happy and jovial people, i lean more toward being a thoughtful person. Self taught guitar with pretty smooth fingerpicking, when i'm strumming you can hear that my first love was punk. I rely on accoustic partly because i'm a solo artist and if i tried to fiure out what direction to take a song i'd drive myself crazy. So i strip it down to it's most basic elements and it is what it is. I don't have to worry about "my sound", i just write the song and it will have to convey the feeling on it's own. Like a drawing in pencil on notebook paper. I recognize it's limits but it's better than nothing. Recorded material is somewhat lagging cuz i'm poor(nothing since 2004), but i've got about thirty song some songs that i still like. Hopefully, i'll be back on stage and in the studio soon.
