Judge for Marcus Cox

Marcus Cox, a native of Newark, NJ has always had a passion for music. He began singing at the youthful age of 7. At the age of 12 he moved to Clinton, NC. Marcus has won numerous talent shows and showcases, but perhaps his biggest break came in 2006 when he performed live at the Apollo Theater in N.Y. Marcus shows unique versatility as a song writer and performer. His strong vocals and soulful voice, has given him the opportunity to open for nationally recording artists Jagged Edge, The Dream, & Neyo. Some of his influences are Jamie Foxx, John legend, & Usher Raymond. He now continues to work towards his dream of becoming the next R&B legend with many projects forthcoming.
