Portrait of Cloud Called 9
Cloud Called 9 started late 2009, it started as a spin off of the old bad ass party band Blue Movie. Randy Bane as the frontrunner, [guitar, vocals, etc] and his sidekick [bass] player Brandon Baker have been writing together for along time..Chad Fuller who is mostly a freestyle musician [guitar, etc] started to play together as a 3 piece. Quickly after the first couple of shows we picked up a drummer Josh Gilbert. After finding our sounds we knew that we would like to get a keyboard player and another vocalist. We got lucky and found someone who could do both and not just the keyboards but a slue of other instruments James Iarocci. But we weren't done there we decided that we would like to add more talent so we acquired James Lloret [keyboards,vocals,etc.]. Cloud Called 9 is an all original band. Its not that we don't like to cover music its just that if you want hear someone Else's song then put your money in the juke box. C.C.9 has a wide range of sounds , its progressive , experimental, melodic, rock, trip rock, blues, jazz, jam, heavy metal...PICK YOUR POISON! C.C.9 also has a lot of other collaborating musicians that are apart of our band. Brandon Johnson [blues guitar], Jim Powers [trumpet],Robert Rios [harmonica] and more to come...
