Middle Finger Salute are a UK punk/Rock band,
Middle Finger Salute are from Blackburn, Lancashire (UK) - and the band began in September 2005, as four friends aged 13 and 15 as a way of passing time.
The band have since gone on to be the only unsigned UK band on the Vans Warped Tour 2009, as well as the only unsigned band on the Official Warped Tour 09 Compilation CD thru SideOneDummy Records.
The band have played @ SXSW 2010 - playing a total of 4 showcases across Austin as part of the festival.
Middle Finger Salute have played support to bands including Rancid, Misfits, Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, Cock Sparrer, Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols), The Adicts and many more.
The band have toured the UK - and also toured with bands including The Blackout (Epitaph Records), The Briggs (SideOneDummy Records) and UK Punk Icons Angelic Upstarts and The Vibrators.
In January 2009, the band were in Big Cheese Magazine's Best of 2008 , and featured on the covermount cd also, alongside bands such as Gaslight Anthem, Cancer Bats and Airbourne.
The band have played festivals across Europe including all the Rebellion Punk Festivals, and Germany's Punk and Disorderly Festival.
This year the band are one of 4 UK bands once again on the Vans Warped Tour.. the others are You Me At Six, Bring Me The Horizon and Enter Shikari.. making the band the youngest of the Brits, and the only unsigned British band on the Vans Warped Tour 2010.
