Canita Rogers is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. At an early age she became fascinated with music and began pursuing her dreams at nine, by enrolling in piano lessons. With hard work and dedication, she got accepted in the piano department at Carver Creative Performing Art Center (CCPAC), a magnet program local in Montgomery, AL. While at CCPAC Canita’s skills in piano excelled. By the time she reached her senior year of high school she was performing for college music competitions, art shows and other events around the area. After graduating from Carver High School, Canita accepted a full scholarship from the Music Department at Alabama A&M University in Normal, AL.
