Portrait of Ketura
We are Ketura.

Specifically (for the detail-minded), we are Daniel Stapleton and Bert Windsor from Fairfax, Virginia. We met when we were 11-years-old. This was our first conversation:

Daniel: Do you like music?

Bert: [shrug] Yeah, I guess so.

Daniel: Want to start a band?

We are Ketura.

Now, years later, we have created a sound that suits us nicely, mixing electronic styles like trance and drum&bass with powerful modern rock, a-la 30 Seconds to Mars or Kill Hannah - all layered over a healthy dose of pop songwriting sensibilities.

We are Ketura.

Our songs deal with day-to-day life in a relatively big way, giving dramatic expression to the thoughts, feelings and questions we've all had at some point or another.

We are Ketura.

We have played to empty rooms. We have played to packed festivals of screaming kids. We have played at a 5-year-old's birthday party.

We have toured in the heat waves of summer. We have rehearsed in abandoned houses in the frigid winds of winter.

Our passion towards creating music is undying and massive. Our drive to better ourselves and our songs at every turn borders on obsessive. Our desire to share what we create with a wider audience is life-or-death.

Our goal is to take over the entire world.

We are Ketura.
