Frank Manzi, "Bright Corners of the World" (Poor Rider). FOUR STARS.

In another era, Frank Manzi would have been a star by now.
Or maybe he'd have hit the big time if he came from Austin, where Americana rockers seem to get more attention. Instead, Manzi has been plugging away for two decades in Western Massachusetts, quietly making a succession of great albums.
Manzi is a passionate singer and writer, straight out of the Springsteen/Mellencamp school of rock.
