Born in Perth, West Australia, Composer Peter Kendall Warren scores for stage and screen. A palette of tones, textures and rhythms, his first solo record, Worlds Apart, features his love of instruments from across the globe.
While Peter moved to the USA as a young boy, he was able to travel the globe extensively as a child and young man, visiting cultures in the Mid-East, Africa, Russia, China, Japan, and Europe. These experiences exposed Peter at a young age to the beauty of world music. As well, Peter's parents exposed him to "classical" music every day.
Living in Franklin, TN, most of his adult life, Peter has worked among the finest musicians and artists in the country, easily found in Music City, of which Franklin is a suburb.
As well, Peter has worked with other world music artists, like Benny Prasad of India, most recently and Merry Ellen Kirk, helping them bring their projects to life as a mix engineer and/or Producer.
Worlds Apart, Peter's Debut Album as an artist, was a dream come true for him. These songs started as music cues that developed into works of world music exploration. A multi-year project, this album was brings together the tones and textures of a world of music that has been brought together in Worlds Apart.
