Portrait of HARNESS
To this day not much is known of the origins of Harness. It is said they were once ancient Myrddin, half man, half demon. They were born of the trees and are known to possess mysterious powers. Many believe the Myrddin manifest only in times of utmost darkness. They appear in times of war, genocide, greed, lust...only to bring prophecies of doom. How Myrddin have become mortal men has been a controversial issue among the scientific community. However, the most widely accepted theory is a treacherous tale of conspiracy, murder, and betrayal. Being half man and half demon suggests that they were created by both God and the Devil. Ancient scrolls found under 45 feet of ice in Antarctica speak of a young farm boy that was lost for three days in the vast forest surrounding his home. When he finally returned he spoke of horrific creatures. He said they rose from the earth screaming, covered in blood from head to toe. The boy just sat there, motionless, paralyzed by fear. While he waited, he heard them speak of how they came to be. The creatures talked in great detail of how they executed their master plan, the plan to overthrow not only God, but Satan as well. First, the Myrddin convinced the Devil that God was planning on stealing his half of their souls. Naturally, after believing the story, the Devil stole the other half from God first. God, in return, became furious. He vowed to vanquish the Devil from all existence. The devil, as we all know, is quite tenacious, and would not suffer defeat. With the two rulers so distracted with each others destruction, stealing their souls back for themselves became quite easy. It was escaping from Hell alive that was the hard part. No one knows how they made it out, most believe they fought their way through every bloody inch of it, only surviving by sheer will. Now they are here, and with them, they bring the end of existence as we know it. It is only a matter of time until all of man bows at their feet.
