Portrait of EL CABRERO
Only two FLAMENCO singers have been pinpointed as social phenomenon in the history of this Music: one of them is EL CABRERO
His genius, his professional approach, his commitment to Flamenco in its purest form – «devoid of additives »- and with the great questions which preoccupy humanity in our times, makes him a truly unique figure in the pure flamenco genre

Soul, feeling, authenticity, power, passion and one of the greatests voices ever heard in Flamenco: a natural voice, brilliant and rough at the same time, which knows no falsetto and breaks itself to reach the most innaccesible of notes.

El Cabrero is considered as a bastion of traditional forms of Flamenco and a specialist of the most archaic and hermetic song-forms as Soleá, Seguiriya, Tonás. But he is also a creative artist who projects his own personality through his singing, yet he respects the primeval forms.

Son and grandson of goatherds, EL CABRERO, performes around the World, he is one of the most revered figures in Flamenco Puro since 1980, but he always returns to tend the family herd that grazes the hills and valleys of his native Sierra Morena
