Portrait of the Forum Walters
Basically „the Forum Walters“started playing as a serious band in Spring 2008 consisting of drummer Jakob Wimmer, bassist Hannah Kosch and guitarist/singer Philipp Eisl. With some rough recorded Demos in their hands they played several shows in Austria. In early summer 2008 they met Time Again’s vocalist Daniel Dart, who was willing to produce their first longplayer “Empty Bottles, sad truth, wasted nights and rotten youth” in Los Angeles, California. The release in late 2008 marked a very important step in the development of “the Forum Walters” Joined by lead guitar player Mathias Mair-Zeininger they made the decision that the band should become main part of their lives. Being well known in Austria, the band flew over to the United States to play their first Westcoast-Tour. Back home they headed into the studio again to record the follower of their first LP. The result is a melting pot consisting of Punkrock, Ska, Reggae and the typical Austrian accent, which create a unique mixture.
