We came together at the start of 2008 and have played many gigs throughout the South, together with a number of festivals, winning many friends along the way. Highlights have been The Small World Festival and Lounge on the Farm Festival. We have been approached to play Glastonbury and Secret Garden Party 2009 and hope to add more festivals for summer 2009.

After a busy summer of festivals and gigs across the South, COCOS LOVERS set sail for Europe to spend three months playing gigs, writing material, finding new sounds and making new friends.

The route took us to Belgium, Holland, Germany, the South of France and Spain where we settled in the 'Magic Valley' between Valencia and Barcelona. We are now back in the UK and are busy recording our debut E.P., due for release in April, at Smugglers' Studios. Gigs are being lined up and we are booking festivals for the summer.

We have recently supported the fantastic Mumford & Sons, who have been described in the music press as one of the bands to watch out for in 2009.

The EP is ready and has a release date of 03/04/09 and will be entitled ' the story of lunatic vin rogue '. To celebrate this we shall be having a release party at The Farmhouse, Dover Street, Canterbury.
