The Norwegian band ACELSIA creates music which may be labeled as melodic hard rock. Sometimes quiet and mellow, sometimes heavy and noisy - the band is recognized by soothing melodies, melancholy moods and Malene's emotional voic

Acelsia tries to create honest and genuine music with hopes that the emotions it conveys will touch the listener. The music is contrastive and emotional, and moves between one extreme to the other, from the soft and sweet to the more brutal and heavy, but always with a strong melody in the center.
